However, that same blog post states more details are coming later this year. riYYZXS7O1īioware recently stated that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is in the middle of production, meaning it’ll likely be a while before it comes out. Your newest adventure begins in Dragon Age: #Dreadwolf. There’s also a shiny new logo for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, which you can check out below. That game came out more than eight years ago, though, so maybe expecting everyone to have played it would be a big ask. It’s an odd move, considering Solas was such an enormous part of Dragon Age: Inquisition.
If you’re new to Dragon Age, you have no need to worry about not having met our antagonist just yet. “But at the core of this, like every past game, is you. “Whether you’re new to Dragon Age stories or you’ve experienced them all, using Solas’s namesake no doubt suggests a spectrum of endless possibilities on where things may go,” reads a statement on Bioware’s blog.
Curiously, Bioware doesn’t expect you to know the character’s backstory going into Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. Yes, the highly-anticipated RPG is centering on none other than fan-favorite villain Solas. On Thursday, Bioware officially made Dragon Age: Dreadwolf the official title of its next project. Glad that we’re finally getting around to that! After all these years, the next Dragon Age has an actual title.
